This course will teach you the fundamentals of clinical medical assisting. Medical Assistants work alongside doctors and nurses to care for patients. They help prepare patients for examinations and medical procedures, perform basic venipuncture and EKG’s, as well as sterilize medical instruments and record patient information. Medical assistants work in hospitals, physicians’ offices, clinics, and other healthcare settings.
